End User License Agreement

Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before using KitchenPilot ("App"). By tapping "Agree & Continue," you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

This Agreement is between you and KitchenPilot (the "Developer"). It is not an agreement with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

1. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Restrictions

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any subscription or paywall mechanism

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers a free tier and optional paid plans processed entirely through Apple's App Store. The following plans are available:

• Free — 2 AI-generated recipes and 1 meal plan at no charge.
• Monthly — $4.99/month — Unlimited recipes, meal plans, and saved content. Renews every month.
• Yearly — $49.99/year — Same unlimited access, billed once per year (saves ~17% vs monthly).
• Lifetime — $79.99 (one-time) — Unlimited access forever with a single payment. No recurring charges.

Auto-Renewal: Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged at confirmation of purchase.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Refunds: All purchases are final and processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The Developer has no control over refund decisions.

Price Changes: The Developer reserves the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified in advance of any price change through the App Store and must actively consent to continue at the new price.

4. Account Deletion and Data Removal

You have the right to delete your KitchenPilot account and all associated data at any time.

• How to delete: Please mail app.kitchenpilot@gmail.com with a deletion request. Please allow up to 30 days for this request to be completed.
• What gets deleted: Your account, email address, saved recipes, bookmarked meal plans, dietary preferences, usage history, and all other personal data stored by the Developer.
• Timing: Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days of your request.
• Irreversibility: Account deletion cannot be undone. Any active subscription must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID settings — deleting your account does not automatically cancel App Store subscriptions.

5. AI-Generated Content

Recipes and meal plans are generated by artificial intelligence. Nutritional information is an estimate and should not replace professional dietary advice. The Developer is not responsible for adverse reactions, allergies, or health outcomes resulting from following App-generated content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE DEVELOPER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. Apple-Specific Terms

• This Agreement is between you and the Developer only, not Apple.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in accordance with applicable US federal and state law.
